How influencers are changing the world of marketing

I'm sure everyone knows by now how much I love to experiment on my hair and this excludes the amount of blow dries I get done before my events. 😬

The bad news is, of course, I have hair damage.

The good news is, being the Brand Ambassador of Palmer's, I get to try out their new Haircare range as soon as it is launched and provide my feedback.

Palmers Middle East launched 3 ranges of hair care products at the start of this month: The Olive Oil Range, The Raw Shea Butter Range and The Manuka Flower Honey Range.

The review on the Raw Shea Butter Range can be read in my previous blog post so this post is all about their Olive Oil Formula Range.

THE SHAMPOO

The key ingredients are :

1. 100% pure Extra Virgin Olive Oil - vitamins and minerals which act as antioxidants to protect your hair from damage

2. Vitamin E - an antioxidant that helps repair and build tissue. Also helps reduce inflammation and repair damage to the follicles, and healthy follicles encourage hair growth

3. Jamaican Black Castor Oil - strong lipid content helping relieve dry, itchy scalp while protecting hair from styling damage.

Personal experience:

The shampoo lathers well, has a fresh fragrance and the consistency is of a thin pearly white liquid. Though it has all the ingredients that may seem like there may be an oily residue left behind, it doesn't. In fact, my hair felt well cleansed and with all the good ingredients, it is safe for daily use. 💯

Cost:

AED 32 for a bottle of 400 ml, therefore cost effective.

The Leave-in Conditioner

An instant spray-on product to be used on damp hair. This works perfectly as a detangler and as a heat protectant spray. Not to worry if you forget to use the conditioner during your shower. Just spray this in once you are out of your shower, before drying your hair and you won't have an issue brushing through the knotted mess.

Also, don't be surprised if you find yourself taking a whiff of your hair, the smell is divine!  Might get your friends wondering which hair perfume you used. 😉

The conditioner contains all of the key ingredients found in the Smoothing Shampoo as stated above such as Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Vitamin E, Keratin and Jamaican Black Castor Oil.

Cost:

AED 32 for 250 ml bottle

Palmers has truly outdone themselves again in all aspects from quality to cost effectiveness.
